This morning I received an e-mail from my son's school along with an attachment of the PTO meeting minutes. As I took a break from my Canna work, I perused the normal comments. Momentarily I became confused as I saw "marijuana" cross the page...
Say whattttttt? Granted, the township's coalition mission as stated on their web site is to:
build community partnerships to reduce high risk behaviors including alcohol, tobacco and other drug use, to help ensure that our youth may grow to their greatest potential."
Regardless, it struck a cannabis chord that a room full of peers, moms, professionals and parents were likely & legal to return home to their drink or pill of choice (or power to those who get through life without!). Yet, we're spreading the word to stop parents like me - from their choice of pot.
Which lead me to POTITIVES and the positive promotion of pot. While navigating through gray areas, and blurred lines in mind of advertising of the "drug"... two recent campaigns in California and Pennsylvania are out to gain the same goal.
In a sea of bloggers/tweeters & insagrammers operating under the same positive pot initiative, Oov Lifestyle has elevated the conversations with their 'real stories' campaign. The campaign highlights individual cannabis users & the positive benefits it adds to their life.
But how can you spread the word of potitives to those with closed minds? Check out the CannaSpace +potitives Pinterest Board, follow & share as stigmas are shown. A quick link + send will spread over 15 infographics with cannabis facts in an easy to read and digest format. No munchies required.
